Love the pose and the eyes 
Okies, first up - the vision. It's not completely overdone and wacked out - awesome. Nothing's squished up, the colours match, everything looks awesome! I just have to say the midground/background looks a little empty. Maybe a rock or a mountain to the left in the background? And perhaps the lighting's a little too strong for the stars and moonlight there really is.
Originality...welp, since it is someone's chara I can't give full marks, but, it is original in design and what not. But the art style itself is original...like I said, not a professional.
I like the technique used - the shading style, the lighting, the lineart, the everything was done awesomely. ^_^
The picture itself had a slight impact. Not an "in your face" or exploding from the page impact. Not sure what to say for that.
Overall, it's a nice, simple piece with a beauty. Overall I give four and a half to five stars. X3
